Four New Stills of Aimee Teegarden in Scream 4?

I'm a tad bit confused as to why these Scream 4 stills weren't released a while ago, especially around the time the home-media release, but I'm not going to complain. Here are four new stills of Aimee Teegarden in the opening scene of Scream 4. Enjoy..

Piranha 3DD: What Exactly Will We See?

Dimensions Films has always been very clever with their promotion, especially with their trailers which usually include scenes shot strictly for promotion, most notably in 2006's Black X-Mas and 2011's Scream 4, but even 2010's Piranha 3D found itself with many scenes found in the trailers and TV spots that never showed up in the final cut, which came as a huge disapointment to many fans.

I've recently found myself asking if they've done the same thing with their upcoming release Piranha 3DD.It's actually really hard to tell what will stay in the final cut of the film, and what exactly is just being used for promotion, especially when there's a huge lack of promotion.

Though I do suspect that the ending scene in the trailer featuring a piranha swimming inside of Danielle Panabaker's vagina has only been shot for promotion, especially if, which was revealed in the trailer as well, a piranha swims inside another character's vagina, because, lets fact it, no film director would be smart enough to include the same gag more than once, unless they actually want their film to be boring.

But as far as I can see, that's the only scene that looks like it's been shot for promotion, but I'm sure that once the film is released on June 1st, we will all fall victim to the misleading promotional footage.

Legends Never Die - Urban Legends: Final Cut Review

In this underrated sequel to 1998's "Urban Legend", a group of film students find themselves being stalked by a serial killer basing their murders off of, well, urban legends, as they struggle to complete their thesis films based on, get ready for it, urban legends!

I'm gonna make this review as brief as possible, but I honestly prefer this film more than the first and I will honestly never understand why this movie bombed at the box-office. Maybe it was the awful trailer? Lack of reference to the first film? Who knows, but this film deserves a lot more credit than it deserves. It's definitely not a grade-A slasher, but it's definitely not a grade-B slasher, either.

As far as the plot goes, it does sound and is a bit ridiculous, but that doesn't necessarily make this movie bad, in fact, I think that's what made this movie good. Filming a movie about urban legends while your cast and crew are being murdered based on urban legends? It's definitely something different for the slasher genre.

While the actors were a bit annoying, especially the lead, played by Jennifer Morrison, they really did a great job in most scenes. Jessica Cauffiel especially stuck out most. Her character, Sandra, was horribly bad at acting, and she played that character pretty damn good, making herself seem like a terrible actress which I found to be quite hilarious, actually.

The kills in this movie are actually some of my favorites in the slasher genre, including one very minor character's who falls victim to the kidney-heist urban legend but with a decapitation twist. Definitely the best scene in the entire movie.

I found the "twist" to be extremely confusing and I had to watch the film quite a few times to actually understand who did what, why one did something, etc. which was actually very frustrating, but once you actually understand everything, this movie is quite fun.

This movie definitely wasn't the worst sequel I've seen, and it definitely wasn't the best slasher, but it's definitely one of my favorites that's worthy of a watch. I'd give it a 3.5/5.

"No Body Is Safe" in new Piranha 3DD poster.

With a bit of a lack of promotion for the upcoming sequel to 2010's glorious Piranha, Dimensions Films is slowly starting to give this film a bit more recognition, just released the extended red-band trailer a few weeks ago. To add to the list, a third poster has been released and it reminds me of a modernized DVD cover for a cult 80's flick.

My Super Psycho Sweet 16: Part 3 - Review

As you all know, I'm a big fan of the My Super Psycho Sweet 16 series, and last night, MTV aired it's supposed final installment of the films, and let's just say the final one was the best one.

The movie doesn't give us much characterzation towards the newer characters, but enough to not feel sorry for when they die because they're that annoying. Especially that Nico kid, damn cholo. The characters were all very cliche to most slasher characters in some ways, as well.

The movie doesn't really lag as much as the first two did, with the first kill being in the film within the first 25 minutes, the whole film just kept hitting a higher climax as time went on. The first hour really killed off the obvious victims, leaving the other hour or so for the, what we thought already happened, climax.

The final scene was really deja vu to many 80's slashers, e.g. Happy Birthday To Me, one of the Sleep Away Camp Films, etc. I don't want to give too much away, but Alex has a huge grudge towards Skye, and Scott and Jed made sure that was clear.

Now, the movie did have it's flaws, but I only found there to be one, where the hell are Alex's grandparents on her sweet sixteen?! She was living with her grandparents, but there were no sign of them anywhere. But that's not a big deal because they could've easily been out for dinner or some place like that.

I don't want to give anything away, so I'll end the review by saying that this movie was my favorite of the three films, having the most annoying characters, the most clever, and gorey deaths, and fun twists, this movie is a very fun slasher that stays true the 80's elements that Part 1 lived by.

My Super Psycho Sweet 16 Part 1 + 2 Set For BluRay Release

According to the blu-ray website, the first two My Super Psycho Sweet 16 films are going to be released to BluRay combo pack including the DVD and digital copy of the films, as well.

While I'm not sure when they're planning to release these films to BluRay, I'm praying that they're going to be available for purchase in store, unlike the crappy amazon releases of the films, which can be bought here and here.

Check out Part 1 and Part 2 on the BluRay website for more information on the BluRay release of the films.

My Super Psycho Sweet 16: Part 3 Poster/Trailer Debut!

Last week, MTV gave us a glimpse at their upcoming sequel to their 2009 hit "My Super Psycho Sweet 16" by releasing a promotional poster and a trailer. While the poster looks decent, I'm not sure how I feel about the film itself.

Skye (Mcknight) prepares to leave for college in New York City in hopes of finally leaving her bloody past behind her. When she gets a ride with fellow freshman Sienna (Reed), they form an instant bond and Skye truly believes she could have a brighter future. But when Skye receives an unexpected call from her estranged little sister, Alex (Prout), she and Sienna decide to make a quick detour to Alex's house so Skye can say goodbye. Only when they arrive do they learn that it is the night of Alex's Sweet 16. As Skye knows, Sweet 16 parties tend to not go very well for these girls, and a night of terror begins again.
